Like the idea. What about turning the pencil upside down and making it the A of your name? You could even use several pencils, one cyan, one magenta and one yellow for each letter. That would be cool. The only thing I don't like is the decorative line you have above VAN. Would be better if the point of the pencil touched the peek of your A instead.
