Description: Logo for a gaming community. They stressed stability and intelligence. First and foremost chess is a game. Chess is a game of Intellect, requiring strategy & planning, that has been played by the west in it’s current form for a long long time. So, chess symbolizes both intellect and stability. To bring these ideas home further I chose the figure of a rook for the mark. The rook is a fortress, which is strong and stable.
