it looks like you are trying to put a trident and a squid together in a very corporate way it is just not working. I would go with the trident look of the three arrows. bring them way down in size. get rid of the eye and add a shaft. put the new trident at an angle over the text pointing up and to the right.
I think the logo feels too whimsical and clunky overall - especially for a financial institution. Financial companies are very serious and corporate (ie, stiff and stodgy) for a good reason - people trust them with millions of dollars every day. The logo needs to reflect that trust (even though we all know that the big financial companies are screwing everyone and themselves these days).**Also, just as an FYI, the color red is a no-no in the financial world as it is usually an associated term with a loss of income. And why choose a red background when the company name refers to the ocean?
