ReplyClever concept. I agree with nido...not something you typically want to do.
ReplyThis kills me, it's so good.
Replykiller stuff. very bright concept
ReplyI like how you managed to incorporate the human talking into the dog's ear, and not just a mutt/person concept. Very nice.
Replyvery nice, man
ReplyHow did I miss this...kudos bro, this is special!
ReplyReally like the way the dog and the person share the same eye. Great concept.
Replysehr cooles concept.
ReplyThanks again to everyone for all the positive comments :)**@ Logo design monster - glad you noticed the shared eye (this was something I was particularly happy with) visually conveying the idea that by seeing eye to eye and understanding your dog, you can better manage their behaviour. **@ nido and oc - thanks guys I hear what you are saying, the thinning of the line isn't something I would usually have done either. However, in this case I felt it was necessary to allow enough space for the eye and maintain clarity at small sizes. It also helps ensure the audience sees the dog first and the face second.
Reply@ s7even, just for your Info. There is another logo with same concept (dog human sharing eye) out there. I know this because I did work for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Just a heads up. Nice concept.
ReplyThanks for the heads up Mike.. I scoured the internet for dog/people/face logos after creating this mark (early 2009) and found nothing even remotely close. I am a little embarrassed to admit the guide dog angle didn't actually occur to me (seems so obvious now). Is this (http://www.webdesign.org/img_articles/2669/rgd.gif) the mark you were referring to?
ReplyYEP! that's it BUT,.. I think your totally safe, especially now that you re showed it to me. This would pass under registered trademark law. Like I said great concept.
Replyreally nice!! Clever resolution!
ReplyWay beautiful!
Replyso smart and cute
