Description:
At Social Endeavors we recognize that developing social skills is important but can also be challenging. No diagnosis is necessary for participation in our groups. Children who are diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome, high-functioning Autism, learning disability and anxiety often participate.Our programs are designed for children who participate in mainstream education settings, but experience difficulties getting along with peers. By actively participating in team building activities and play, children learn new skills. "Social Thinking" language, CBT techniques and lots of fun incorporated in each meeting. Parents have an active role and receive a weekly individual written feedback.
