I think the color purple kills it and makes it almost look immature.

This business is all about craft and attention to detail. I would highly suggest using a visual reference such as googling pictures of comedy and tragedy masks. In particular study the masks expressions and then refine your concept. It takes five minutes to sketch up a concept but it takes considerably more time to make that concept into a logo. *
