Studied graphic design at the University of Alabama when high tech meant you had a new blade in your x-acto knife or the latest sheet of stick-up type from Letraset. Veered off into sports marketing and corporate marketing management for several years but came back to design full time 10-12 years ago. Those years in marketing gave me a deep understanding of what the needs are on the other side of the desk... and how logo development can be a key first step in branding and product positioning. My marks are usually no-nonsense using strong fonts with supporting design elements.
