Well...now I think you're burying your lighthouse icon, whereas in your first version it was dominating your logo. There's definitely a balancing act involved when pairing an icon with type in a logo, and you've gone from one extreme to the other.**I think your font choice is an improvement, although, the word %22LIGHTING%22 is a little too spaced out and small making it somewhat illegible. You need to upsize %22LIGHTING%22 a bit to balance better with %22SIGHTPOINT%22 - after all, lighting is what the business is all about. I would also make your %22S%22 and your %22P%22 a little smaller as well. It's alright to have them taller than your other type, but it's overwhelming in this case.**Finally, in regards to your lighthouse icon, again, it's an improvement over your first version. However, I think you need to stop trying to integrate (shoe-horn) the lighthouse into your type, as it's not working in either of your logo versions. I would take a look at possibly putting the lighthouse icon in some sort of box or circular enclosure and either place it above or to the side of your type.**I hope this helps.

I second everything sdijock stated. The lighthouse icon is so small compared to the type. I wouldn't have been able to see what it was without reading sdijock's comments. **Check out this Lighthouse logo I created with a couple of my colleagues. The lighthouse is integrated right in with the type.**http://www.david-maloney.com/projects/lighthouse.gif**Hope that helps give you some fresh ideas on your project.
