i guess i kinda see what your saying... of course i know of wordpress, but not enough to be familiar with their logo... regardless, i was going for an irregular shape to represent a cell, and the white line around gave it more of an organic feel... as for the color, this concept never got to the stage of adding color... it was never my intention to leave it grey :) thanks for the comments
