Description:
There are few things I love more than Blackburn Rovers.
I’m originally from the north of England, spending the first 7 years of my life there. All of my family comes from this small town of Blackburn, Lancashire.
If you know anything about Blackburn, you will know that the most important thing is the local football team. They are lovingly known as “The pride of Lancashire”.
All my life I’ve literally dreamed of pulling on that famous blue and white jersey and running onto the pitch with the team. While sadly I’ll never be able to do that, I CAN offer some of my skills that require a little less footballing!
While the current Rovers badge is historic and famous, I thought it would be fun to play around with it and see if I can come up with something else that could be applied to fan’s shirts and other items.
The Lancashire rose has always been the main image of Rovers. Here I’ve gone to a more historic and traditional view of this rose—one that was actually used for quite a while on the Rovers shirts of old. I’ve also tried to keep the more modern, circular aspect of the current logo, so as not to stray too far.
The keen eye will also notice that the center of the logo is created by a football.
Rovers ’til I die!

Way cool, Nathan! All three versions are pretty great, particularly the one split down the middle.
