Banana, fine.. but stock? How is that represented?

It's a collection of %22lifestyle%22 stock photography, that's all. I'm not sure why they named themselves %22BANANAstock,%22 but they were concerned about falling into the void of similar-named brands (comstock, purestock, workbook stock etc.) and they wanted a stylized banana in the logo, so they got one. :)

Serves the purpose. Brings focus to the name, not just the industry.

I really like the simplicity of this logo, but the kerning between the 1st A %26 N combination in banana is bugging me a little...

good bringing to focus the banana aspect. There is no need to represent every word in company name, in the company logo...
