I'm not sure I understand the hand-drawn feel in conjunction with construction. I tend to think of construction as strong, engineered and solid as opposed to loose and freeform.**Care to explain your reasoning?

Every constructive visual idea begins with freeform thinking which can then materialized into a freeform sketch. this is true even in construction.

it could be an illustration for a scetchbook cover. or for MTV :)

I like the look of it as well but it doesn't remind me or strike me as a construction company I'd trust to build my home. fails on deliver the message as bianca said, im actually designing a logo for a construction firm and im focusing in making it looks like strong and trustable i feel your logo is incomplete and broken. I will upload the logo when finished. Good luck dude.
