Since this is a logo for the gaming industry I was going for look of a movie studios animated logo. In the animated version the lense flair brightens then fades back to this. As far as icon, I was looking for something modern and that could stand on it's own.
intriguing. it's as if the 'loop' of the R has slid down the the R's legs. pretty cool. you certainly like the brushed metal look? you use it in a number of logos in your portfolio.
It is intriguing, but there is something that bothers me about the large R mark. I don't know if it is the fat main leg to the left, in comparison to the slanted leg and open circle, or how the open circle of the R comes around and back up (where the lens flare is) making it look like it was added rather than originally a part of the graphic. Something just doesn't quite jive for me. Sorry.
Lets Discuss
Interesting, can you perhaps explain the concept of the mark? Is there a reason for the lense flair?
