@jsae: i've had my friends consulted, because it had a little leg that usually G's have but they said they didn't feel necessary because ot the bottom of the G. anyone else read this as a C instead of a G? thanks for the comment anway :)
The G/C issue can be easily fixed by simply moving the intersect point higher. The H will look a little more stylized but there would be no confusion about the G. Personally, I found it easy to read and it looks fine the way it is. good work.
@firebrand: i tried what you said but losing the dot on the %22i%22 decreased readability very much. also using a conventional %22t%22 (like the one on the right) took some claustrophobia away. it doesn't look bad, but i'm not sure i like it. but hey! thanks a lot for the ideas :)
I was thinking something similar. Drop the top of the first T down so it goes through the dot, the top of the G and tops the last T as well. Only tweak I would suggest. I mean it is a bit of a chore to read already, so you might as well go all the way. Maybe making every other letter a different color? Great job regardless!
I like it the way it is. I don't think the G is an issue, I read it very easily. I think the top of the T works...sort of like an outreached arm bringing all of the letters in closer. Good job!

clever idea, but the G reads as a C to me...

ReplyI think this might work better if you lose the dot and insert a conventional T.

ReplyDon't change a thing especially adding color to each letter.
Replythanks to all for your constructive comments :)
ReplyI really think making the 'i' and the 'H' a different color would make it much more readable. The concept and execution are %22tight%22, however. :)
