I think this is your best execution of this concept. The light/shadow play is great%3B it works brilliantly in 1-color. As noted, the subtle F in the trail is a nice touch. I think the type works well, but yoiu might want to manually kern some spots. The space between the L and the O could be tightened, and I believe the space between the E and the T could use just a touch of tightening. Otherwise, I think this is a winner!
