Description: Westwood Country Club is located in west Austin, and overlooks the Colorado River. Their previous logo was 20 years old, and they came to us looking for a logo that was contemporary and would stand the test of time. This logo design solution uses a classic serif typeface, Bodoni, paired with a sans serif typeface, Din, which was created in 1955 - the year the club was established. The mark at the bottom of the crest is the club's original logo design from 1955, slightly modified. The logo's simple form allows versatility in application, an important requirement for use by the club's sub-brands (tennis, aquatics, dining, fitness, and marina).
