Little too much going on. I'd just use your cool dj shape with out the dot. Also mirror the top of the d to look just like the curve of the j so it's perfectly symmetrical. I would also clean up your j shape so that it's a perfect section of the d shape. Does that make sense? If you look at the inside curve of the j you see it's not a true concentric circle. It should be. Then simplify your type. Could be a nice monogram.

That's looking much, much better. Great job. You should post that one. And try one more where you ad the turn at the bottom of the j and mirror the turn at the top of the d. Post 'em both.

p.s. Love the typography on the new one. Might want to go ahead an connect that os to get rid of that trapped sliver. Great type.

Either no hook or the same hook at the to of the d. I'm thinking no hook. And just the typo by itself is pretty darn strong.

I have the thread going to the forums too, I am hearing to just use the type there too. I think I will use just the type. Thanks for your input gthobbs. Do you twitter?
