Description:
This concept is a stylized plant with a circular seed in the middle, roots curling down, and two leaves growing out of the top. The plant symbolizes the growing, thriving community at The Kirk church and the two leaves are the two locations. The leaves also form a dove, representing the Holy Spirit being present in everything they do. The curly roots at the bottom were inspired by a scroll, the solid foundation of Old Testament scripture. The leaves at the top also form a book, the living scripture of the New Testament. In the center of the circle is a icon system that is flexible to represent the many diverse things that make The Kirk wonderful. This is just an example of the icons that could be included. This is a rejected concept.
