Description: / 2012 / Portal da Música Católica The "Portal da Música Católica" is the largest content site is dedicated to Catholic music of Brazil. On the air since 2001, receives thousands of visits daily, and we Jazz Design Studio had the honor of working on this great project, developing a new visual identity and the layout of the new portal that will soon be published. This project was the first redesign of brand and site of portal since its publication in 2001. The website did not have a system consistent visual or layout suited to current standards, since from the beginning it was developed by a team that was not made ​​by professional designers. Still, the site content is rich, and this is secured the large volume of requests currently. We went into the project with the objective to professionalize the image of the site, so after extensive research and search for users informations, we started to develop the new logo, which was inspired by guitar picks. The union of three guitar picks symbolize the holy trinity, and the wide variety of colors represent the richness and diversity of styles within the Brazilian Catholic music today. Shortly after completion and approval of the identity, we set off for the layout of the new site. We seek to work with variations of colors and typography that we employ in the logo design to build a visual modern and applicable, and with a fairly simple usability very interactive.
