I disagree, to me a looks slightly cartoony. The second ear shouldn%B4t be visible when depicting the unicorn in profile, the eye is too small and the overall body looks too thick.
Rich, c'mon! did you even see this guy's portfolio? **@barryconvex - looks cartoony?? dude, I'm primarily an illustrator, i can sketch cartoons like nobody's business - and this my friend is no where near a cartoon! you need to use some imagination when you do great marks...if he adds another ear and then increase the size of the eye...then it would get cartoonish!
Maybe it looks cartoonish to him because it looks like it lacks a neck if you imagine it as a whole horse but if you see it as a chess piece then it's not.
@designabot: Yes. To me it looks better, although the proportions still seem to be closer to a pony than a horse. Which doesn%B4t mean it doesn%B4t work as it is now. (If you%B4re looking for elegance, stretch the proportions so it become more horselike.) Possibly you%B4ll sooner or later drop the single hair on the forehead.%0D*%0D*@JohnM: I wouldn%B4t trade in my portfolio for yours in a million years. Everything I%B4ve uploaded was created under real conditions for real customers with real aspects like usability in mind. I don%B4t care if the majority here think of coming up with strange pseudobrands as designing. If they enjoy that and it improves their skills, fine, but that%B4s not my cup of tea.
