Hmm, it says %22Homework%22... I'm speechless.

I'm with contrast8 but one man's junk is another mans treasure!

I thought the same as contrast8 when I first saw this but, the more I look at it, the more I can see some.... endearing qualities about it. I'd say it could hold it's own as a brand. But, I can also see some problems. The drop shadow being one of them.

I'm not understanding the hate, yes there are a few 'designer issues' with this but, if you give it just one open-minded glance...it has everything people have been longing for. For example%3B you want clever wordplay, it has it, you want custom type, it has it. You want a textural background, it has it, you want a non-corporate look, it has it...If you want scalability, legibility, the ability to work in monochrome, it has it. Why is it not considered a win??

I think the reason people don't like it is because it doesn't fit the mold that every other gallery piece here has. The logo pond formula wasn't followed to a tee, and people just don't understand. Rules can be broken??

Sorry for my previous comment, David. I think you have a potential here. The CLOCK part is pretty good. Like ClimaxDesign said, the HARD part still needs work.*It's nice that you get this logo placed on the Gallery. But the fact that it still needs work, makes me question the decision of LP's moderator. That's all.*Wish you all the best. We all started as a student :-)
