As a native Texan (San Antonio!), I can identify with this. Very nice, subtle integration of the Lone Star into the flower%3B it feels like it belongs there rather than being some arbitrary design element requested by a demanding client wanting to make a Texas connection. And I like the colors, too. One nitpicky suggestion, though: Since Texas IS the Lone Star State, I would ditch the stars-as-bullets that adorn the word %22street.%22 Having them there ruins the star's integrity and deeper meaning, and it decreases the specialness one feels upon its discovery inside the flower. Non-Texans won't understand, but rest assured, to Texans, that star matters!
