Description: This logo is for the polish social website for theatres. To be precise, it's going to be a social platform where users could rate/review on theatrical plays and people involved in theatre (directors, actors etc). IMDB for theatre basically. I'm kind of stuck with my idea of depicting theatre. Though I'm trying to avoid the most standard symbols, like masks, I still want this graphic to be somehow recognizable as for a user. I want to connect the New and the Old together, which is Theatre with Internet. Internet = discussion, social things, talks = people This go well with my idea of audience = people. But I can't seem to be find the graphic solution that would satisfy me the most. These uploaded images, are so far, the closest to something decent. But I'm afraid they're not recognizable or way to ordinary/common. So the question is: how do you find it? Can you recognize a theatre here? The idea behind the sign? Or maybe you have another idea for a theatre symbol? I'd appreciate any kind of suggestions.
