Ha! Yeah, this was for a one-off project. I'd hardly ever use it in print for anything major — for obvious reasons. But it is my last name and it was fun for this one gig.
Yeah, I'd have to recommend not using this. There's the obvious- you could get sued if it ever showed up on the radar at Ford, but beyond that, you need to think about what it says about you as a designer. It doesn't take any creativity to copy someone else's logo (whether it's famous or not) %26 it lets everyone know that you don't see a problem with including %22borrowed%22 designs in your work. If I was hiring a designer %26 saw this in their portfolio (or -God forbid- on their letterhead) I wouldn't hire them. I get that it's supposed to be obvious and humorous, but it raises some concerns about professionalism.
