i understand it's about 'threads' and you'd like to make the wool look as 'thread-y' as possible....but it really does not seem to be very 'shrinkable'....and loses qualitythe smaller it gets. if it's on a business card, or as a small logo on a website, i'm afraid it will look like a floating head and some shapes meant to be feet. :( i say to make the wool thicker in size. like the concept and the swirlies for the wool, tho. and although a sans serif may be a good alternative, i would stick with 'another serif font' as mowila said. perhaps french script-like fonts. look for wedding invitations-type fonts. i'd stay away from really whimsical ones, tho. overused in concept with animations, imo. :)
