I'm trying to create a logo for my vfx/motion graphics portfolio and thought this disintegrating title effect fit that pretty well.

Although I like where this is going, (I'm talking about the effect) I would focus on the shape of your logo first then the effect, it looks disjointed right now, but the effect works great, might help if you simplify it a bit.
