This looks very similar to this pro sport team logo here in Aus: http://www.wildtiger.org/images/wests_tigers_logo.jpg
I can see the similar pose, but there are many differences.
That's a pretty common pose, I think those west tigers may have gotten their inspiration from the Florida Panthers
