I see the %22Jaguar%22:http://www.jaguar.com/ logo. Sorry.
ReplyThurmon - A little professional criticism for you...**Trajan is a beautiful font, but I've noticed that you're using it for almost every logo you've uploaded. My advice would be to explore other fonts for your logos moving forward as they're all beginning to look the same. It could be a turn-off to a potential client or employer when they review your portfolio.
ReplyUniversity of Kansas students seem to %22disagree.%22:http://www.trajansucks.com/
ReplyLOL! Not sure how you found that web article admarcbart, but it was very amusing. Thanks for sharing.**I still think that Trajan is a nice font, but I agree with the UK students that it's not the best choice for sports teams.
ReplyI love sports branding and is a goal of mine to one day accomplish such memorable branding. I look at tons of sports branding sites in my spare time and this was on the forums on one of them. I thought it was priceless and also a very stupid mistake by KU (not UK) to ruin their tradition of basketball with Trajan.
ReplyI also see Jaguar. I like Trajan as well however it just looks repetitive with every school, colleges with this logo.*Since you're doing sports branding, try something snazzier, you could break barriers with a new logo unless they have that whole branding guidelines you have to follow and don't have a choice in the matter.
ReplyYeah, I don't really care for this logo much myself. It would be nice to get to do it over, but that won't happen. Designing a mark for a university can be a brutal political process that you quickly lose control of. But it's funny how much this mark taunts me. It's everywhere here in Houston since it's for the University of Houston Alumni Association. It's on windshields and bumperstickers everytime I pull up at a red light. I mostly just see it as a missed opportunity.
