I've seen similar version of the shovel/tree mark another logo in a design annual years ago. As gyui said, I'm not suggesting you copied either, I just think it's one of those graphic solutions that any designer dealing with an evironmental client is bound to come up with at some point.

Thanks guys. This is why I've posted my logo here. When this idea suddenly appeared in my mind I said, %22Wait, is this a great idea or have I seen this in somewhere else before?%22 I swear, I looked everywhere on the net and couldn't find anything that resembles this. Like sdijock said, maybe I saw it in a publishing. Though this concept is perfect for my subject and today is the deadline to submit this logo in this class project. The icon is a bastard with an unknown father but at least the typography is my child.

Yours, nonetheless, is a very excellent execution. My only criticism would be the color. It feels a bit like the leaves are near dead. Very nice design though.
