a lot of subtle detail in this. it is beautiful, but I don't see how it will reproduce consistently in a wide variety of media.

Actually, in Spanish the word doesn't have the last %22e%22, so, it should be Caracol.

True, but it does have an %22e%22 in french (although it has another meaning than %22snail%22).

Hey sha, great work, how did you manage to get the gradient on a spiral? Ive never figured out how to do that in illustrator / photoshop!?
