Description:
Orkaplast is a quite small company which produces plastic packaging. The founders found the concept of "orka" (in english: "orca") which make logo easy to remember (clear and simple lines) by drawing the parallel between their business (plastic closures) and simplicity.

Orka? Does that mean anything in a particular language? In english it sounds like %22orca%22 which is a large whale.
ReplyYes, orka means orca. That is why black part of the circle also has dorsal fin.*
ReplyThat's what that is, okay. Nice idea. I'd perhaps work in some white at some point to make it resemble in an abstract way the markings of an orca. Also, the dorsal fin is really small. Not a shrinkable part of this logo. Great concept, tho.
