Have you considered flipping the symbol horizontally? You will get a shape similar to the letter C that will help your concept in my opinion. I like the symbol and it's colors but i'm not sure about the type.

Thanks for your opinion. About the type, i use it because it means greece or something closer (shapes and graphic)for this alphabet, the same and brunch a symbol of this culture.
