Description: System of marks for the City of Denton's 2014 Mardi Gras on West Wallnut street. A family of logos for the different applications ranging from banners, beer glasses, and shirts. Denton is a small town 40 minutes from Dallas, United States. What I've explored with the mark is a representation of one of Denton's most iconic buildings at the heart of downtown, the court house. This general area called "the square" will hold our first annual Mardi Gras on West Wallnut street. This event is meant to bring the city, local vendors and community together for a good time inspired by the New Orleans festival. The main image is the simplest variation of the mark. The remaining thumbnails contain the family for different applications all the way to four color screen-print shirts.
