Description:
Working on a logo for my business as a freelance designer. My artist name is Mrs. Fuchsia (because my haircolor is pink / fuchsia). "Fuchs" is the german word for fox, so a wanted something that has to do with art & fox an the color fuchsia.
It's really hard to do a logo for yourself, so I would love to hear your critiques.

ReplySo the icon depicts a foxes tail, a pencil head and the letter 'f'. Am I right? The foxes tail is pretty clear but it took me a moment to see the pencil. Pencils aren't curved so it looks a little odd. Also the horizontal bar of the F is not clear either. I like your idea but it needs a bit more development. How about a pink fox icon with the tail end turning into a paint brush (rather than a straight pencil). Then your name Mrs Fuchsia written seperately with a suitable type?

I totally understand your point - and I wasn't sure if you could see the pencil. But if you've seen it as long as I did, it seems pretty clear. Good to know that it's not.
I will try your idea with the fox and the pencil tail soon. Thanks for your help! ...I'm right now looking for some ideas by my own too, we'll see how it goes.
