I'm so glad you decided to do this version. Looks great and I think everyone's feedback supports that. The only tweak I would consider is playing with the metal portion. The weight of your lines don't quite match up to the rest of the mark. Other than that, kudos! Good luck.

wow this looks great. This is a nit pick but the dark part of the pencil doesn't really work in my opinion, would maybe be better if it was all the one colour?**great work anyway!
