Description: Peaceable Kingdom came into being in 1998, operating through the efforts of dedicated volunteers who offered their personal residences to shelter and care for homeless animals. For several years, Peaceable Kingdom focused its efforts on cats. In 2004, they began to offer services for dogs. They now hold weekly adoption days at area pet supply stores, as well as special adoption events at other locations.
