Negative space exploration
Work in progress
If edges of A would be more parallel to head of the pencil, it would be perfect in my opinion. Cheers!
Nice one, for sure! Maybe round the top left and right corners of the "A" to match the radius of the rest of the characters? Again, nice work!
thanks guys, there was a little bit mess with the "A", so decided to leave it how you see it now :)
I think this is the same idea as:
congratulation with the gallery spot ;)
not really, Shtef. this is not, perhaps, a unique idea. but I would say it is a unique execution. great job.
Actually I did a similar concept in 2012 as seen here (uploaded it just now so the date should show 2014) http://i.imgur.com/nPjsA76.png but the problem was when i ran a few reverse image searches, a large art community already had a similar concept. So I scrapped it and just used it as my skype profile ID. If nobody else had it I'd have documented it and uploaded it online somewhere for proof of time. So markedone wins based on proof of time but I'd do that reverse image search if I were you cause I'm positive there's one like this already.
The original file I have is in fact dated 2012 but none of this matters if one doesn't document it online on a 2nd party server where you have no control to modify anything as that adds more proof of time/server time. I could very well just change the file date too that's why I guess documenting it online is always a good way to prove things but as to why I didn't do it is explained in my last post. Cheers
Concept with the Pencil in A (negative space),is nothing new.
I like the simplicity of this one: http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/49798
what if the R had a brush like the A has the pencil... ???
Yeap guys, thanks for the comments and critics, but it was a quick Idea, that popped out and after research I did not found any ART word with pencil in letter's A negative space. I know it is nothing new, but just wanted to make this specific word.
