1. The type feels a little default, like you're using Myriad Pro or something. I'd explore other options. 2. This is probably a weird idea, but the bee abdomen look a bit like a skateboard. If you pushed the form a little it could be a 2 in 1 deal, with a subtle skateboard shape in there. But, that also might be too much.
