I quite like this, especially the combination of the two ideas.**I will note though that you'd probably want to simplify and enlarge the ornamentation detail, it gets a bit lost. I think you need to strengthen the 'russian-ness' a bit more to get the idea across, just be careful not to lose the lotus blossom.**Nicely done!
