had the same reaction as Oc.Ink. that being I did not get that it was a bomb until pointed out. I also got the skater vibe from it. I like the colors. overall good work.
Your work on iheartlogos is fantastic. That client of yours really knows what they're doing, too. Their site is a great example of good design, planning, and execution. It's even written well%3B it's a solid example of what good communication should be. Impressive.
Just looked at iheartlogos. They totally lost me at %22%2410 per logo%22 part. I know they are aiming at LogoLounge, but their voting arrangement is poorly thought through.**Consider what happens with hopeful submitters when they realize that %2410 a pop did not put their logos in the book. They will perceive the situation as grossly unfair (since they carefully selected and submitted the best of their stuff, right ?), and will go vengeful on everyone by up-voting the crap and down-voting the good stuff. **So if they stick to their word and do open voting the way they promise, the book may not be as exciting as they imagine it. Letting participants judge is not exactly a great idea, especially if there's money involved.**
Just checked the Whois entry for the domain. %22They%22 -%3E %22You%22. Brian, I didn't realize it was your personal project, I assumed you have helped with it.
@AP - actually I completely disagree with you. How do you think all the competitions around the world operate? %24 Print, CA, How - do you not enter anything ever unless its free. Good luck finding those that feel legitimate, and would let anything in. I stumbled across iheartlogos.com a month ago and thought to myself, %22finally a competition site that caters to the entrants, with zero favoritism%22. Let the community judge - 1 bad egg isn't going to ruin it for the rest of the best. Cream always rises to the top. Try it and find out. **ps KGB your the bomb.
