Kinda like Cisco System logo?
ReplyHave you tried the lines to be uneven on the bottom too, sorta like a heartbeat measuers up and down, and not just up on the medical devices? Now it looks kinda like an equaliser :P
Reply@ stavanger - I can see your point, but I think they are different enough. I needed something that said %22measurement%22 and the lines made sense. There are 10 lines because it measures down to the 10 nano-somethings.**@ dreamer - It's meant to represent the top of a heart. It also measures from the beginning of the Q wave to the end of the T wave. I wanted to stay away from traditional cardiac/heart stuff.
Replydoes anyone use the float or sink anymore?
ReplySomething about that Q (in that style) will always remind me of Quicktime.
ReplyCraven, I can see your point. I think most serif Qs would do that, especially in or near a light blue. I actually drew these letters.
ReplyDo you mean sans serif?
Replyyes. sorry.
Replynp - just wanted to be clear on what you were saying.
ReplyKGB...Man I like your work a lot but I am not judging here, but all I see is Cisco. Maybe that is the result of their great branding. I know I have done some in the past that some accused as similar, but it is very clean.
ReplyBart, all I can say is, I see the similarities, but to me, they aren't close enough to cause concern. Cisco is a bridge, this is the top of a heart. It's the top of a heart and a wave that relates to part of their secret technology. The client didn't choose this one anyway. This mark is just for me and logopond.
ReplyHAHA! I hate it when the client does that. Like I said I like the look. Just the heart shape was not clear to me.
ReplyI'll upload the client's selection.
Replyany floaters?
