I've never come across anything like it, looks pretty original to me. Nice work.

As this was a symbol 'done for fun', I did not do any research if it's been done or not. After posted this online last week I ask my peer designers if they saw anything similar. Two names popped up. 1. Typotalks and 2. Touchcast. I think only Touchcast is very identical to my version here. Although they have some huge differences in the final execution imo.

Hey @ClimaxDesigns no problem man. I understand that it could cause unnecessary discussions about who made the first original design here. My attempt was just a 'creative accident' as I mentioned before and it was out there just for gathering thoughts on the originality of this symbol by the source. Thats why we all need communities like these.

Try looking at Tribe Social - https://tribesocial.com/home , and as you stated you wanted feedback on whether or not it has been done before. But good rendition of logo mark nonetheless.
