thanks Houston :)*for the cup position i've already tried horizontally flip and somehow i noticed that it loses the feeling of %22cup%22 as object, and it also points out of the structure, with a consistence loss. or so i figured it (:
I would consider the relative scale to be the other letters, I guess. Also espresso cups tend to have thinner rims and I guess it just seems thick to me. It just looks like a full sized coffee mug to me the way it is now. Just throwing out my personal opinion on it.
of course ! %3B) but i've also considered the relationship between the cup and the thickness of type and more precisely of the letter %22o%22**do you think that a thinner cup would work as well? %5E%5E
It might work... the thickness of the cup is already a little thinner than that of the type, so thinning it up just a tiny bit more might work fine. I like it the way it is, no doubt, but it doesn't hurt to try, right? As long as it doesn't burn your eyes, in which case this comment was never made.
Very nice. Nice kerning job too.**O's stroke is a bit too thin compared to other letters, and it stands out. Have you considered using the same stroke for all letters ?
thanks to all you guys (: really appreciate the comments. Regarding the thickness of the %22o%22/cup i've tried many variants, and considering that the original letter wasn't a perfect circle like this, its depth was different depending on the parts considered, so i think that making it even more thick could lose the feeling of expresso smal cup and becoming something else :(* *thinner instead make the cup much more separeted from the rest of typing and much less %22o%22 letter, which is quite significant i think

Replymaybe i see it that way 'cause i'm left-handed (:*i'll upload also that version and you'll tell me %3B)
ReplyI think the cup is too big to be an espresso cup
ReplyWha? How is the cup big? There's no relative scale to compare.

ReplyNice type treatment, I like the simplicity of this one.
Reply@lundeja: i don't think this cup can be confused with other products (http://www.grape-frogg.com/affil/img/pics/coffee_cup_empty_by_frogg.jpg) :)?**thanks cerise (:
ReplyI wasn't saying it was confusing by any means. I was just wondering out loud if maybe there was a better execution.

ReplyI wouldn't change a thing...this logotype is perfect!
