ReplyThank you guys, I'm new here, and your support is very important to me.
Replyru_ferretYes, I understand. In this style, I need to learn a lot more.
Wouldn't this still work if the A was in its place and the lens below it? I'm certain there would still be enough of a suggestion of a camera, perhaps an even more subtler reference, those are the best ones. Also, one reference to a camera should be enough. Those outer brackets are not necessary. But you have a good mind for this stuff, that is apparent.
ReplyNice work, Facebrand.
ReplyMade me smile:)
Reply@Nido, your suggestion about the A wouldn't work, because there would be no left and right "sides" of the camera, since the K & and R currently serve that purpose. Also, the implied "bottom" of the camera is created from the baseline of all the letters. You take all that away, and it's a mysterious dot floating below an A.
ReplyI DO agree that the brackets are unnecessary, but I don't find them to be egregiously excessive.
Thank you all. @Nido, corners as an additional clue that this is about photography. Since the naming does not contain a direct allusion to the photographer.
ReplyHere tried to omit the letter A. https://www.dropbox.com/s/9yj2sootds4un42/logo2 eng.jpg?dl=0
As for me, this solution ideal for the paparazzi.
Having a hard time separating it in my brain because it already knows that its supposed to be a camera, but if im being as objective as possible i dont think i would know to associate that circle with a camera then 'see' the body of the cm in the negative space with the letter inline
Reply@Facebrand, I see what you mean about the paparazzi thing. But the corner frames are still too much.
Reply@Atomivvibe... seeee, still works. For a paparazzi.
I agree with you Nido, perhaps need to clean corners.
ReplyThere's one simple rule: All that can be removed should be removed.
Reply^^ I agree. But sometimes people are just stubborn.
