I like the simplicity, but have you considered trying a design that has some movement? Your name 'Ding Dong' with two D's could make and interesting dual-bell mark that actually looks like it is ringing. Just a thought?

Actually, 3 D's. Even better :)

That sounds like a good idea so you mean 3 D's with a bell inside each that looks like it is moving from side to side ? if that makes sense lol...

Not three D's with a bell inside them as negative space, but three bells that represent D's (or vice versa). A capital D rotated 90 degrees counter clockwise has a very similar shape to a bell, I would play around with that concept. Using different shades of your blue, I would try to create a motion effect of three D's that look like bells swinging from the same point of interest, giving testament to your Ding-Dong-Design name. Just a thought! :)

I played around with the bell shape and gave it a transparency to give it a motion effect. Just needs tweaking will upload soon so you can give me your thoughts :). Thanks for the ideas by the way :).

If you were sitting across the table from me, and I was your designer and you my client, I'd ask you in the client brief this question: just why did you chose %22Ding Dong Design%22 for your design firm name? What about that name exemplified your design style? Whatever that reason is, bring it to life graphically and you'll have a whole new approach to creating your identity.

My surname is Bell so i played on that and came up with ding dong design and it stuck. Do you guys feel its nt strong enough? I am a student at university and i am wanting to create an online portfolio but i need some guidance with a few things. Have even thought about a partnership with someone I just need contacts....I know what i want but its all about knowing where to start.

The name is a little juvenile sounding. It reminds me of doorbell ditching when I was a kid. If your name is Bell, I would recommend going with that. Bell Design, or something. Then you would have a more direct link with your mark. Plus, it's more honest and professional sounding.

%5ECompletely agree with designtofeel. Honest and professional should be a goal of any naming attempt, imho.
