The logo is vector (the background isn't). Not sure what you meant about %22altered for broader uses%22 unless you think the yellow border won't sit well on lighter surfaces? In that case, I think I would lose the border for just a clean red on white (or other light color).
Yes, I meant that a restaurant will need business cards, signs, menus, possibly a website. This logo (in its fullness) *may* not work for all purposes. Since the background isn't vector, it won't be able to be used on a large scale without becoming pixelated. It looks nice though!

Is this vector? I think it's really nice, though I'm sure it will have to be altered for broader uses. It definitely reminds me of Italy... mi amore'!
