I would lose the ripples in this, along with the perspective by giving it a simple profile angle. I also think the funnels could use some work, they look a bit 'cartooney' compared to the detail of the ship. If your heart is set on the ripples and perspective, I would work on it a bit more. The gradient effect looks a bit flat still. I think this has great potential. :)
