Description: We have to admit we were quite excited when we were contacted by Josh Baker, the director of the Monolith Festival to design a new logo for this popular event. Monolith takes place at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. In the past there hasn’t been a solidified logo for the festival and the Monolith team wanted to change that. There goal was to establish a unique and recognizable brand. One of the most challenging aspects of this project was to seamlessly include both the primary sponsor logo as well the venue logo…yes, all within the final lock-up. Without hesitation we jumped right in, developing this crest featuring a monolithic speaker (get it?) and some antlers to add some whimsical Colorado-flavor. The list of artists performing could have been lifted directly from our own music playlists, so of course, we’ll be there in September.
