I'd say this one. That tiny little leaf shows the rose itself. Really nice concept!

its a beauty alright... i feel that the mark would pop more behind a light background... this is a little too dark IMO...

Thanks John, I lightened up the background. Good suggestion.

I have to agree with tass on this one. Rose is undoubtedly recognisable by it's petals, but the leaf makes it a whole.

@rosevineyard are you the client of @awartinger in this case? If not then, no. That would be plagiarism and it would depend on where you are located the designer would have the right to sue you for upwards of $250,000.

@bartodell I have never heard of the @rosevineyard account, they are not a client of mine. The logo was done as a creative exercise and I have not given them any permission to use my work.

@rosevineyard If the name was registered and approved via a trademark and copyright office such as the United States Trademark and Patent Office, then you would just need to send @AWartinger a Cease and Desist letter by email or snail mail.

However, if it was not then you are infringing on his copyrighted work by using it on this forum and any other places that you have an online presence and he would be entitled to damages if you do not comply with his Cease and Desist letter by email or snail mail that he has every right to send to you.

@rosevineyard Just because you found artwork online does not give you the right to use it as you see fit. You can email me via the email link in my profile if you have any more questions, and I would like you to do so regardless of the outcome of this discussion.

@ClimaxDesigns I am all for removing a person's account in this case, however now @AWartinger has no record or information regarding this person for him to monitor and make sure they are not using his work...does that make sense?

@ClimaxDesigns is there a way to make a valid email link that gets sent to that specific email before allowing someone to post? Basically it lets you log the info in the database for times such as this in case someone rips off another person.
