Hot Rod Lager v2
I like this version, very cool!
%5E Ditto on the grill. I prefer this version.
Thank you Fabian and Chris! Your opinions mean a lot to me!
I agree. I like. The grille is very close to looking like a hefty glass o beer as well with a foamy top.
Nice job. %5EInteresting thought, Glen.*
Thanks Glen, Roy and Sindur! I really hadn't looked at the grille in that way Glen, but I like it! Thank you!
any thoughts on other colors?
Thank you luiz and artbox! I appreciate it!
is this one lp gallery worthy? . . . it's becoming a new life goal! PLEASE! :%5D
very simple and effective. Well done
Works very well for me, even better than the other version.
Thank you very much Alex! I really appreciate everyone's support!
Looks like it is worthy. :-)
Cara...this may be insignificant to many, but it looks like you have a 32' Ford grill shell with some horizontal elements added...not sure of the reason. I realize this is your artistic interpretation...the early 1930's Ford and Chevy grills had only vertical elements. I like the image overall...nice type choices.*I don't mean this as a gratuitous attack...as others have done to me here. I'm old enough to know old cars...I own a hot rod.
Thanks you guys! My life goal is complete, I can die a happy woman now! :)**@topfuel: Good eye! The '32 Ford grille was my inspiration, but I went my own direction with it since it seemed a little too boxy for this design.
One thing I was thinking about this logo is if you could actually mimmic the grille of the 32 Ford Coupe aka Deuce Coupe a little more and use vertical bars in the actual grille instead of the horizontal it would be killer. Love the concept by the way! Can you tell I am a gearhead/hot rodder! LOL!
WOW! Y'all know your hot rods a little too well! LOL! I had no idea so many people would be able to recognize the shape, so I just made it more %22generic hot rod.%22 But I guess I'll definitely have to try it with the vertical bars now!
Nice, simple and clean, really outstanding! Now the next question is how does Hot Rod Lager taste?
I see hot rod right away. Nice custom Hot Rod. I'll drink to that.
awesome! great work!
This is sweet!
Very cool logo - love the colors.
I like it just the way it is -- it's great work. Recognizable, makes sense, great quality. Vertical bars would distract, imo. Great to see this in the gallery.
Very cool and perfect color. Awesome.
Thank you all VERY much! I think I will stick with the horizontal bars too! Thanks for your support!!!
Very cool. Clean, simple. Nice.
I keep seeing a %22vintage mike%22:http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc37/tassiadee/vintage_microphone.jpg. Nice logo nonetheless.
Vintage mike? Vintage mike? Ah ha! Vintage Mic! :) I see it too.
Very clean and very nice. You could have taken this so many different ways and I like the way you went with it. Great job. What a fun project.
Very intresting logo. I like it so match :-)
love it a lot.*my only thought is maybe the HOTROD text is a little too modern for the era? Maybe its just the small version, but are the corners rounded slightly? If so they may need to be a little more squared off..?
Ahhh! Okay, so now does anyone have any ideas on how to kill the %22vintage microphone%22 look? Now that's all I can see...
Great stuff %3Cb%3E2ccreative%3C/b%3E!
Thanks oski!**@ brad todd - I hate to let you down, but it's actually a design for a virtual brewery that sells apparel with their original beer names and labels! There's no real beer to taste test . . . bummer. :%5D They wanted a slight change to the final design, but they should be selling this one soon. Check 'em out at:**http://bottsbrewery.com
this i love, *it's so simple but yet direct to the meaning
You made it to the gallery, Congratz!!**..meant to comment a while ago, late as usual.
thank you s.vanelderen and raja!
If I sent you some cash would you get this screen printed for me?!
%5EI'll go in halfsies with you Matt :)
I seriously want a red shirt with this reversed out. The website that sells this shirt muddied up the mark with putting vertical lines in.
What website is selling it?
%5Escrewed that up...just search for %22hot rod lager%22 at www.cafepress.com
Found it on the site, thanks MF.
Thanks guys! I'll ask the guys at Botts Brewery if they'll do a run of shirts without the vertical lines!
